UREP Ambassadors is a paid program that employs students who have experience working with our programs. Ambassadors are frequently present at information sessions and events to share their experiences with their peers; additionally, Ambassadors serve as mentors for the STAR Scholar program. Aside from helping to market and promote the activities offered by our office, UREP Ambassadors are also provided with workshops and trainings to help develop their own personal and professional development skills.

Eligibility

• Applicants for the UREP Ambassador position must be currently enrolled in classes and cannot be on co-op.
• Applicants should have some general knowledge about UREP programs.
• Applicants should have completed STAR/iSTAR, 2 terms of faculty-mentored research, participated in the Aspire Scholars Program and/or worked with UREP to apply for a fellowship.

How to Apply

The UREP ambassador position has two cycles annually. Ambassadors may serve during the Fall/Winter quarters (Summer Term application) or the Spring/Summer quarters (Winter Term application).
